Walter Diethelm

Born 7-2-1913 in Zurich, Switzerland
Dead 10-6-1986 in Zurich, Switzerland

Type designer, typographer, graphic designer

1928-32: trains as a graphic artist in Zurich.

1932-33: studies at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich, then at the Académie Ranson and the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in paris. Art director of the Fretz printing works in Zurich for ten years.

From 1954 onwards: runs his own studio in Zurich. His areas of work include books, signage systems, exhibition planning, logos and posters. Numerous exhibitions and awards.
