Publimondial is one of this magazines, fallen in disgrace and follower of the most famous ones, like Gebrauchsgraphik or Graphis. It deal, like it competitor with all the aspect of graphic art & advertising: from window display to identity, from advertising to photography and illustration.
Chapters were short, 6 pages seems to be the longer ones. 20 entries can compose a single issue of 72 pages. The main difference with others graphic design magazine is the translation into spanish: distributed in Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay it introduce the european & american advertising art in the hispanic culture.
Some issues were special issue. Like this one about Printer’s progress, or about Graphic art in the Netherland.
Publimondial is the reflection ofArt at the service of Business in Commerce and Industry the commercial artist’s work is neede to create trade marks and to illustrate selling arguments. Thus a contact is established wich calls for up to date documentation.
Publimondial the modern businessman’s permanent guide furnsishes this documentation and publishes the best graphic creations in advertising. It is also the professional manual of the draughtsman and the technician. To the science of salesmanship it also adds the art of the designer.
