One of our readers inherit of many mags & books about graphic design & typography.
It includes the famous “Neue Grafik” edited by Richard Paul Lohse, Joseph Muller-Brockmann, Hans Neuburg & Carlo Vivarelli.
This piece of Museum is very rare and hard to find. The owner have 7 issues over the 17 of the complete set.
Issues n°1, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 14.
Price is important but it deserve it, a good opportunity for a graphic design school or a museum.

I would love to own even one of these. I would imagine that they are out of my price range though. I am hoping that one day they are republished.
As per Jonathan Turners inquiry, are these for sale and for how much?
I too, would be interested in one issue .
Best,
Michael Skjei
Yes, all these issues (1, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 14) are for sale. The owner know that the prices are around 300 euros per issue (more than 2 issues are for sale on the market at this price).
He also told me that if he don’t have any serious proposition, he would put some auctions on Ebay.
I have a complete set of New Graphic Design, seventeen issues (copies seventeen and eighteen were issued as one) in reasonable condition. I rather foolishly put sticky tape down the spine of issue one when I bought it in 1958 but not the others. Inside pages on all of them are fine.
My question: are they really worth anything as a set or are others sellers just plucking prices out of the sky?
Dear Robin,
Indeed, they are of value, but sometimes prices are truly exaggerated. I am working as assistant in the graphic design department at the well reputated University of art and design Lausanne (ECAL) in Switzerland. We would love to own a complete set of the magazine, it would help us for research and reference work. If you are interested to sell, do not hesitate to contact me.
Best, Robert
