My master’s diploma is a redesign of an epistolary novel, Dangerous Liaisons. The book is a French epistolary novel and was written by Choderlos de Laclos. It is the story of the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont, two rivals and ex-lovers.
As an epistolary novel, the book is composed entirely of letters written by various characters to each other. I created an analog interactive typographic system. The separation of the two main characters, who turned out from the moral order of the world, re-creates the contents, while the turning of the pages resembling opening letters reinterprets the form. Thus the setup of the book aimes at a two-fold, unique and original change. Read Less
